The Movement House was created from the belief that movement can change the way we live, not just the way we look.

Located in a restored 1930s house in Andalusia, Alabama, our studio is designed to feel warm, welcoming, and real — a place where people can build strength, improve mobility, reconnect with their bodies, and find community.

Our classes combine strength work, mobility, yoga-inspired movement, balance, core stability, breath, and functional training. The goal is not to be the most flexible, the strongest, or the most advanced person in the room. The goal is to keep showing up, keep learning your body, and keep building a foundation that supports your life outside the studio.

We serve beginners, busy parents, athletes, teachers, older adults, and anyone who wants to feel better in their body.

At The Movement House, we believe movement should feel like something you can come back to again and again.

Kristy Beasley is the owner and instructor behind The Movement House.

After experiencing firsthand how movement could help quiet the mind, regulate stress, and build confidence, Kristy became passionate about creating that same space for others. What started as a love for yoga has grown into a deeper focus on strength, mobility, functional movement, and helping people understand their bodies in a practical way.

Kristy teaches with a balance of encouragement, education, and real-life understanding. Her classes are intentional, approachable, and designed to help people build strength from the inside out — from the small stabilizing muscles to the larger movements we use every day.

As a wife, mom, business owner, and instructor, Kristy understands that life is full, busy, and imperfect. That is why her approach is not about doing everything perfectly. It is about creating a rhythm of movement that supports your body, your mind, and your life.

The Movement House is her passion, her purpose, and a place where she hopes every person feels welcome, supported, and stronger than when they walked in.
